Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is officially one of the best baseball players playing in the majors today.

MLB and MLB Network had been slowly revealing the Top100RightNow and tonight, after unveiling numbers 20-11, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. sits at number 13.
This is bound to surprise some people. Some Blue Jays fans may wonder why he isn't higher, given his strong 2024, but his numbers from last season are very 2nd-half heavy.
There are others who argue that Vladdy is too high on the list. The reality is however, that Guerrero is now officially an elite ballplayer.
He is one of a trio of first basemen on this portion of the list, and they are clumped together.

Phillies superstar Bryce Harper, now fully an infielder, is listed at number 12, while new Cubs first baseman Kyle Tucker comes in at number 14.
Other players listed in this section include reigning Cy Young winners Chris Sale (20) and https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/s/skubata01.shtml (11) and rookie of the year Paul Skenes (15). Ronald Acuna Jr., Corey Seager, Ketel Marte, and Zach Wheeler finish off the group.
It is somewhat surprising that Acuna and Skubal aren't higher on the list, but Acuna has had some injury issues last season and Skubalis really only just beginning his peak.
This is called Top100RightNow. If Guerrero has monster season, he could be easily be in the top 10 come next Spring Traning.
The top 10 players will be revealed on MLB Network tomorrow night.
