The first home run of Spring Training for the Toronto Blue Jays belongs to Orelvis Martinez.

Batting ninth and serving as the designated hitter, Martinez launched a solo shot off Yankees starter Carlos Rodn in the fourth inning, extending the Blue Jays' lead to 4-0.
Toronto's scoring started early. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. drove in a run with an RBI single in the first inning, followed by a bases-loaded walk to Nathan Lukes in the second. Alejandro Kirk added an RBI single in the third, bringing home Ernie Clement, as the Blue Jays plated a run in each of the first four innings.
On the mound, left-hander Easton Lucas impressed in his two innings of work. He didn't allow a hit or a walk and struck out three on 26 pitches. Brendon Little, Zach Pop, and Mason Fluharty each contributed a scoreless inning, keeping the Yankeesoff the board through five frames.
New York finally broke through in the sixth, scoring three runs off Eric Pardinho, then tied the game in the eighth against minor league pitcher Anders Tolhurst.
The Blue Jays responded in the bottom half, scoring twice off Colton Brewer. Steward Berroa doubled home Riley Tirotta and later came around to score on a wild pitch, putting Toronto ahead for good.
In addition to the regulars, Blue Jays fans also got their first look at Josh Kasevich and Alan Roden, though neither factored into the victory.
Toronto will face the Boston Red Sox tomorrow, with both Yariel Rodrguez and Jake Bloss scheduled to pitch.
