The Blue Jays continue to battle injuries and illness during the early days of Spring Training.

Right-handed relief pitcher Ryan Burr is dealing with minor shoulder tendinitis, while Will Wagner is sick.
According to Hazel Mae, there has been a bit of a virus that is making it's way through the Blue Jays clubhouse. Wagner shouldn't be out more than a day or two.
As for Burr, he was able to play catch today as he builds his strength back up.
Although he is expected to start the year in Triple-A, Burr performed well in his stint for the Blue Jays last year and is among a handful of relievers vying for the final spot in the Blue Jays bullpen.
Minor injuries are relatively common during Spring, especially in February, and the Blue Jays don't have any cause for concern with Burr.
Erik Swanson and Adam Kloffenstein have also dealt with minor issues but seem to be on the road to recovery.
The Blue Jays were dealt a blow when prospect Adam Macko underwent arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus. While his timeline is unknown, he will miss a significant portion of the season.
Wagner had knee surgery which prematurely ended his 2024 campaign, but that doesn't appear to be an issues heading into 2025.
Daulton Varsho is ahead-of-schedule in his return from a torn rotator cuff and could be ready in time for opening day.
