A number of Blue Jays players are on the mend!

The most notable of these of course is Daulton Varsho. The centre fielder, who is recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, started yesterday's game against the Detroit Tigers as the DH. He homered on the second pitch.
Yesterday, also saw the return of Joey Loperfido, who missed a few days with a sore neck after crashing into the centre field wall chasing down a fly ball. Loperfido all started in today's game against the Braves.
Today's game saw the debut of Jonatan Clase. The outfielder had a delayed start to seeing game action due to a hamstring issue.
The Blue Jays still have a few pitchers dealing with some minor injuries.
Amir Garrett left yesterday's game against the Yankees in the sixth inning after calling the Jays medical team to the mound. No update has been given on the status of his injury.
Erik Swanson, suffering from right forearm fatigue, has been a little behind in camp. He threw a side session yesterday and looks to be on track for opening day, which is good news for the Blue Jays.
Ryan Burr has also yet to make a Spring Training appearance. The right-hander has been dealing with some right shoulder tendinitis and backed off throwing for a few days. While he did play catch on February 22nd, he looks to moving a little bit slower. Still, the Blue Jays he will be ready for opening day, should he make the team.
Finally, Adam Kloffenstein, projected to be the Blue Jays 7th or 8th starter, has been with shoulder fatigue since the beginning of spring. While an MRI showed no structural damage, it is a cause for concern as Kloffenstein missed the last two months of 2024 with a similar issues.
In addition, Adam Macko is recovering from a torn meniscus and will be sidelined for a significant amount of time. Alek Manoah and Ricky Tiedemann, both on the mend from Tommy John surgery, are setting their sites on a mid-August return date.
