The Toronto Blue Jays' strong offensive spring continued with a 13-3 rout of the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland.

The game remained scoreless until the fourth inning, as starters Jose Berrios and Tarik Skubal kept both lineups in check.
In the top of the fourth, a pair of singles, a double, and an Andres Gimenez triple off Tigers reliever Jason Foley gave the Blue Jays a 3-0 lead. They tacked on three more in the fifth, highlighted by a two-run double from Anthony Santander and a ground-rule double by Gimenez.
The offence kept rolling in the seventh, when a Joey Loperfido triple, a Tigers error, and a double play brought home three more runs. Detroit finally got on the board in the bottom half of the inning, as Carlos Mendoza singled with the bases loaded and Roberto Campos followed with an RBI single, cutting the deficit to six.
Rainer Nunez added a two-run single in the eighth, and Myles Straw, off to a surprisingly hot start this spring, crushed a two-run homer in the ninth to put the Blue Jays ahead by 10.
Jose Berrios worked around three hits and two walks to throw 2.2 scoreless innings, striking out three. Ryan Yarbrough, making his first spring appearance, earned the win after 1.1 dazzling innings, allowing just one hit and striking out one.
Hoffman struck out the side in the fifth. After a scoreless sixth, Lazaro Estrada ran into trouble in the seventh, hitting Justyn-Henry Malloy and walking Tomas Nido. Braydon Fisher came on and allowed a walk and two singles before recording the final out of the inning.
Hayden Juenger worked a clean eighth, and Andrew Bash closed out the ninth to seal the win for the Blue Jays, who improve to 6-3-1 this spring.
After an off day Tuesday, the Blue Jays return to action Wednesday against the Pirates, with Kevin Gausman set to make his first Grapefruit League start.
