Toronto Blue Jays vs Detroit Tigers: Todays Starting Lineup

The Toronto Blue Jays will play two game today in split squad action. The first game will be against the Detroit Tigers at TD Ballpark in Dunedin. The second game wil be against the New York Yankees at George M Steinbrenner Field in Tampa Bay.
Chris Bassitt is making his spring training debut of 2025 after working 171 innings for Toronto in 2024.
The 36-year-old veteran is entering the final season of a three-year, $63 million deal he signed with the Blue Jays in December 2022.

Bo Bichette leads off the game for the second time this spring as the John Schneider continues to juggle the leadoff spot between Bo, Gimenez and Wagner so far.
Daulton Varsho is making his spring training debut as a designated hitter batting second in todays split squad lineup.
Varsho is not playing the outfield quite yet as he is still rehabbing his shoulder from off season rotator cuff surgery.
Outfielder Myles Straw (and others) will be playing centerfield instead until Varsho is fully recovered.
Jake Bloss will be making his second appearance of the spring this evening at the Yankees' George M. Steinbrenner Field.
He threw 1.2 innings against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday, allowing two hits and two runs.
