The Toronto Blue Jays face the New York Yankees this evening at George Steinbrenner Field in Tampa Bay. Yariel Rodriguez takes on former Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman. First Pitch 6:35 PM ET.
Tonight the Toronto Blue Jays 'B' squad will take on the New York Yankees 'A' squad in Tampa.
Yariel Rodriguez will face three former MVP's in the first 4 batters of the game while Marcus Stroman will have a much easier task at hand this evening.
Through his first two games, he has an ERA of 18.00 and a WHIP of 3.00. Although he entered camp as in competition for the 5th spot in the rotation, he is most likely going to the year in the bullpen.
It is already the third matchup between the two teams. They split the previous two games, with the Blue Jays winning 6-4 on February 22nd, while New York took the second matchup 6-3.
