Roster for Spring Breakout 2025 announced

But what is Spring Breakout?

Blue Jays' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Spring Breakout is a multi-day event that showcases the best of baseball's future. Sixteen games will be played involving each organizations top prospects, honouring the sports most promising new talent.

For the Blue Jays, their Blue Jays' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Spring Breakoutgame will be on March 15th, when they host the Minnesota Twins at TD Ballpark in Dunedin.

Leading the charge will be slugging infielder Orelvis Martinez, former first round pick Arjun Arjun Nimmala, and Spring Training darling Alan Roden.

Other offensive prospects to watch out for are speedster and minor league gold glove winner Dasan Brown and big first baseman Peyton Williams.

Blue Jays number one overall prospect Trey Yesavage leads things on the pitching side. Other pitchers to watch out for are Juaron Watts-Brown, CJ Van Eyk,, Kendry Roajs, Khal Stephen, and Mason Fluharty, who is already a dark horse to win a bullpen job with the parent club out of Spring Training.

There will also be players that we won't see. Ricky Tiedemann and Landon Maroudis are both recovering from injuries while Josh Kasevich was recently diagnosed with a stress reaction in his back, making his participation doubtful.

Overall, the 2nd edition of Blue Jays' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Spring Breakout will take place from March 13th-16th. Eighteen No. 1 prospects will participate as well as nearly two-thirds of the 900 players on the organizational Top 30 lists.
