Sportsnet baseball writer named co-host of Jays Talk Plus

Get ready for a lot more of Julia Kreuz. The BBWAA member, baseball writer, and occasional SportsNet contributor has been named co-host of Jays Talk Plus
She'll star alongside Blake Murphy.
Jays Talk Plus serves as a companion to Blue Jays Talk, hosted by Kevin Barker and Jeff Blair, which airs weekly.
The show will air on SportsNet Radio Network (which includes The Fan 590), SportsNet 360, SportsNet+ and on-demand.
Kreuz is a well-deserving candidate and has been with SportsNet off-and-on in variety of roles since 2019.
Outside of SportsNet, she was a contributor to MLB.com from April 2022-November 2024, and also worked for Yahoo Sports, Baseball Toronto, and was freelance Play-By-Play Announcer for Canada's Winter Games.
She has also been a fill-in Blue Jays beat reporter for Keegan Matheson.
Kreuz received her bachelor's degree in journalism from Universidad Federal do Parana , in Curitiba, Brazil.
In 2018, she attended Centennial College, where she obtained a postdoctoral in Sports Communication. She won the Dean's award in 2019.
Kreuz has been a big name in the Toronto Sports scene for awhile, where her knowledge and perspective are a much-valued commodity and highly sought after.
Fluent in English and Portugues, Kreuz is also proficient in French and Spanish, the latter of which will be tremendous use when covering stories about - and potentially interviewing - Latin ballplayers.
Jays Talk Plus airs Monday-Friday from 10am-12pm and is available on Apple Podcasts.
