Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith announced that the Toronto Blue Jays have hired 27-year-old Sam Greene as their assistant pitch coach.

Greene a former IBL IBL pitcher for the Toronto Maple Leafs served as the Blue Jays Sr pitching research specialist in 2024.

Greene was pitching at Christie Pits for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the Intercounty Baseball League as recently as last summer (he posted a 5.00 ERA; no xERA available for IBL players yet)

Sam Greene hails from Philadelphia PA and joined the Blue Jays in 2021 after he graduated from the University of McGill where he did his masters in Analytics Management.

The Club officially announced on X moments ago that they've also hired Lou Iannotti as Assistant Hitting Coach and Graham Johnson as Bullpen Coach.

Blue Jays MLB.com insider Keegan Matheson announced the Toronto Blue Jays full coaching staff moments ago is as follows:

Now that the Blue Jays coaching staff is complete for 2025, it's time for Ross Atkins to get going on the team itself.

Fans are growing impatient with this front office and feel like they're dragging their feet this offseason.

Time to sign a front end starter and a bat or two for the lineup.

The bullpen is also a serious factor if the Blue jays want to compete in 2025.

Ross Atkins and Mark Shapiro need to make a big splash soon, offer Vladimir Guerrero Jr what he is worth before its too late and somebody else does in 2026.
