The Toronto Blue Jays have revealed their pitching schedule for the first four games of Spring Training.

Left-hander Easton Lucas will start things off against the Yankees on Saturday. On Sunday, both Yariel Rodriguez and Jake Blossare set to pitch against the Red Sox. Bowden Francis will take the mound on Monday, followed by Max Scherzer and Jose Berrioson Tuesday.
While Scherzer is the biggest name on the list, the most intriguing pitcher might be Lucas.
The left-hander has appeared in 14 career MLB games, including two relief outings for the Blue Jays last season. However, it remains unclear whether the team is stretching him out as a starter. With Adam Macko sidelined due to injury, adding another left-handed option alongside Eric Lauer could provide valuable depth.
It's a storyline worth monitoring.
As it's still the first week of Spring Training, all pitchers will be on a pitch count and won't pitch deep into games. Expect starters to go around two innings, depending on how things unfold.
Spring Training, especially in the early days, is a time for experimentation. Blue Jaysfans can expect to see players trying new positions, unconventional lineup constructions, and frequent in-game substitutions. As camp progresses and rosters take shape, the final week of exhibition games will more closely resemble the regular season.
The Blue Jays' game against the Yankees airs at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday.
