How much have the recent signings impacted the Blue Jays offseason? For one MLB writer, it has given them a solid A grade.

Jon Heyman, NY Post baseball writer and MLB Insider, says that with Andres Gimenez, Anthony Santander, and Max Scherzer, the Blue Jays are much improved, than they were just a few months ago. Throw in Jeff Hoffman as well, and the Blue Jays makeover is nearly complete.
While that opinion is certain to rankle many overly-critical Blue Jays fans, the fact of the matter is that Ross Atkins has filled all of the needs he set out to do.
Get a power bat? Check
Shore up 2nd base? Check
Fill the holes in the rotation? Shore up the bullpen? Check and check
No, the Blue Jays aren't the Los Angeles Dodgers, but Atkins and Shapiro have always been about specificity.
Now what could take the Blue Jays from an solid A to an A-Plus offseason? A Vladimir Guerrero Jr. contract extension of course.
While the slugger remains unsigned as the calendar turns to February, there are rumblings that the Blue Jays are inching closer to a deal. They have just over two weeks to do before the February 17th deadline.
Make it happen Ross.
