Gausman shares his thoughts on the team's offseason so far, his time as a free agent before signing with Toronto, making adjustments on the fly when pitching, and what three-time Cy Young award winner Max Scherzer will bring to the team's rotation.
"Honestly I'm exited to watch how he competes the stuff is incredible, to be 41 and still compete is more impressive than anything to me. He has a bulldog mentality on the mound, he pitches like a closer as a starting pitcher, that's one of the greatest assets that you can have. He just wants to rip your throat out and I've always really loved that about him. He is one of the best pitchers of our generation and I'm really looking forward to being around him."
Gausman also touched on what the Blue Jays have done so far this offseason and his thoughts on the subject heading towards Spring Training.
I really like what the teams has done already, the names that we've been connected with, sign all those guys up! And if they don't sign in Toronto you really cant hold it against those guys, because you only get one big bite at free agency

Gausman has always made it known how he feels about the City of Toronto.
Gausman also shared his thoughts on what he has to do to prepare for spring training and adjusting on the fly.
"I've gotten a lot smarter over the years I listen to my body more than I did when I was 22 or 23. My pitch ability now is better than its ever been, I have the ability to be able to throw multiple pitches, for a long time I never wanted to I never wanted to throw a cutter because I thought it would take away from how good my four-seam fastball is. Now I'm at the point where I think I should have a cutter in my back pocket. And talking to Bassitt he's really opened my eyes to how many pitches he throws 8 or 9. His whole thing is he wants to be able to exploit a weakness if a guy has it. For me its about learning on the fly, If I don't have my A+ fastball then I really need to pitch that day.
Blair and Barker end the show with a discussion on Vladimir Guerrero Jr. as he remains unsigned to a long-term contract.
