Former Toronto Blue Jays Six-Time All-Star Jose Bautista spoke with the MLB Network about his time in Toronto, the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and a potential extension with Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

First Bautista talked about what it meant to him to be inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.
"I had a long stint there, 10 years. That's not very common nowadays in baseball. I'm incredibly humbled to be a part of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and join all the greats."
Bautista then spoke about the three-headed Blue Jays monster that was Joey Bats, Edwin Encarnaician and Josh Donaldson.
"We were very candid players in our interviews and developed a great relationship with our fans, a re-connection I feel like." And when we started winning more and more games you know the turnout you could see it. Everybody was buying into it, fans were showing up every single game and we loved their support and we fed off their energy."

Joey Bats then touched on whether Vladimir Guerrero Jr will remain with the Blue Jays, his up coming extension, what it's like playing for an entire Country and how it applies to his fellow countryman.
"Well I think he knows he was born in Montreal and he's Canadian. The fans love him there I want to see that happen I'm confident they'll figure it out. When you have a whole country following you its different. Imagine how different it is when you have a whole New York Yankees fanbase following you across the world compared to other teams, and the Blue Jays are the only other team that have that size of a following. Its a blessing, I know he understands what that means, and he is definitely weighing that in in his decision making. They're all trying to make an extension happen and I really hope that it does."
MLB Network credited Bautista with starting the bat flip phenomenon because of his epic three-run homer in the 2015 American League division Series.
Jose talked about Junior Caminaro"s bat flip in this years Dominican Winter League Championship game being his most recent favorite because of the importance of the game.
"I played nine years in that league and in that stadium that's a bomb. 454 FT in any stadium is a bomb."
