Brandon Eisert is now a member of the Chicago White Sox.

After being designated for assignment by the Tampa Bay Rays following their signing of Ha-Seong Kim, Eisert joins his third team this offseason.
In a corresponding move, the White Sox designated outfielder Steven Wilson for assignment.
His stint with the Rays lasted less than two weeks. Tampa Bay acquired him from the Blue Jays in exchange for cash after Toronto had previously DFA'd him following the acquisition of Anthony Santander.
It's been a challenging offseason for Eisert, who made his Major League debut with the Blue Jays in 2024. In three appearances with Toronto, Eisert posted a 4.05 ERA across 6.2 innings.
At 27, Eisert has shown some promise in the minor leagues and will look to continue his development as he competes for a bullpen spot with the White Sox.
Though not overpowering, Eisert's fastball can reach 92 mph, and his secondary pitches-a slider and changeup-sit around 84-85 mph.
His minor league success gives hope that he can find success at the big-league level, although he's yet to receive a consistent opportunity to prove himself.
Even if he starts the season in the majors, Eisert still has a couple of options left, so the White Sox could send him down if necessary.
While it's discouraging to be passed around, Eisert will hope that his success at Triple-A translates to the MLB. If it does, he could become a valuable piece in the White Sox bullpen.
