Alek Manoah is on the road to recovery.

The one-time Blue Jays ace spoke with MLB Network about the offseason and his recovery from Tommy John Surgery.
In keeping with his nature and personality, Manoah was candid and open and his process.
Although he is several months away from potentially re-joining the Blue Jays, Manoah is already throwing at 90 feet.

I'm feeling great man. Throwing already at 90 feet, and um, it's going great. - Alek Manoah on his injury recovery.

Before he went down with an elbow injury in June of last year, Manoah was beginning to find himself and re-discover his control after a disastrous 2023, which saw him get demoted all the way down to the Florida Complex League.
In addition to his recovery, Manoah also talked about the Blue Jays offseason, and how excited he is about the addition of Max Scherzer to the locker room and pitching staff.
When asked what a successful 2025 would look like for him, Manoah had a simple a answer..
For me, it's helping this team win a World Series. That's number one.

The typical recovery period from Tommy John surgery is 12 months. If all goes well, Manoah should be back in a Blue Jays uniform by the end of July.
