Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is finding new ways to impress.

The holiday season is a time a for two things: family and food. Sitting around the table, exchanging stories from the past year, giving each other presents, telling your drunk uncle to put the rum and eggnog away. And there's always that one cousin.

But many people don't have these things or don't get to experience them during Christmas. Children and families who have grown up with nothing, or have been affected by events such as hurricanes. Fortunately for them, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is coming to the rescue.

Vlad Jr. knows who he is. He also knows what he represents and is often using his status and stature to give back in philanthropic ways.

The Blue Jays star first baseman was spotted in his native Dominican Republic handing out boxes of food to the underpriveleged.

A 2023 Roberto Clemente Award nominee, Vladdy often uses his vg27 Foundation to bring awareness to issues affecting youth. While he has initiated events like toy drives in the past, he also brings sports, health, education, and the environment to the table.

His philanthropic efforts this holiday season will only endear more to Blue Jays fans and he is a beloved figure in the Dominican Republic just as much as he in Toronto.

He also took some time for himself. His wife Natalie posted a selfie on social media of the two of them on a romantic dinner date. She is also the manager of the foundation.

Vlad Jr. helped many this Christmas. Now Blue Jays fans are hoping for a little gift of their own.
