It's a bird! It's a plane! It's... ThunderBug?!

If you tuned in to Tuesday's Blue Jays-Phillies Spring Training game, you may have noticed a team mascot causing chaos in the stands.
That's nothing unusual for a baseball game-especially in Spring Training. But what made this case unique was that it wasn't the Blue Jays' Ace or the Phillie Phanatic. Instead, Dunedin was visited by none other than ThunderBug.
So, who exactly is this mysterious thrip?
Normally found on the ice, ThunderBug is the beloved mascot of the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning. Known for his boisterous personality, he frequently hypes up the crowd by pounding a bass drum to simulate a thunderclap-often leading the pre-game ritual alongside AC/DC's "Thunderstruck."
During games, he can be seen roaming the stands, tossing T-shirts, and providing a rhythmic beat for cheers and chants.
So why was he at a baseball game?
TThunderBug is currently on a Spring Training tour, taking advantage of the Grapefruit League's proximity to Tampa Bay for some cross-sport shenanigans.
This isn't the first time we've seen a hockey-baseball mascot crossover.
After the Montreal Expos relocated to Washington, D.C., the Montreal Canadiens adopted Youppi!, who has since become a staple at the Bell Centre.
Ace, the Blue Jays' longtime feathered mascot, was also in attendance and even posed for a photo with ThunderBug-the two are reportedly good friends.
No word yet on where ThunderBug's next stop will be, but one thing's for sure-he's making the most of his time in the Florida sun.
